To assist local enterprises in "going global" and tapping into international markets, actively capitalizing on the development opportunities presented by the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (RCEP), and establishing a platform for international exchange and cooperation, the Wuhan-Singapore Investment Cooperation Exchange Meeting was successfully held in Wuhan on June 7. The event was organized by Wuhan World Trade Exhibition Services Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Wuhan Culture and Tourism Group. Attendees included representatives from Singapore's Constellar Exhibitions, the Singapore Enterprise Development Agency’s Wuhan Office, the Wuhan Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, the Wuhan Municipal Bureau of Commerce, and over 80 representatives from Wuhan-based enterprises.

The exchange meeting was hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Wuhan Sub-Council and Constellar Exhibitions (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd., with support from the Singapore Enterprise Development Agency and the Singapore Industrial Expo Organizing Committee. The event aimed to enhance economic and trade exchanges and cooperation between Wuhan and Singapore, serving as a model for high-quality collaboration under the Belt and Road Initiative and fostering the implementation of the new bilateral relationship framework in Wuhan to yield fruitful outcomes.

At the meeting, Sun Yuansong, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Chairman of CCPIT Wuhan Sub-Council, delivered a speech. As the world’s fourth-largest producer of high-tech products, Singapore boasts strong manufacturing capabilities in precision engineering, aerospace, biomedicine, electronics, and chemicals. The two sides share a solid industrial foundation and vast prospects for collaboration.

In the next phase, Wuhan World Trade Exhibition Services Co., Ltd. will further strengthen ties with Singaporean exhibition agencies, deepen strategic partnerships, and build bridges for economic and trade exchanges. The company will facilitate the international expansion of high-quality Wuhan enterprises while inviting more Singaporean businesses to invest and establish a presence in Wuhan, contributing to the high-quality development of the city’s exhibition economy.
