On September 25, 2024, SIAL China® (Guangzhou) & Guangzhou International Food and Ingredients Expo, jointly organized with Food2China Expo Guangzhou (China) International Food & Beverage Exhibition, Wine to China, and 2024 Guangzhou (Jiangnan) International Fruit & Vegetable Industry Expo, grandly opened in Area B of the Canton Fair Complex. Concurrently held during the exhibition was the 2024 Wuhan Modern Agriculture and Food Industry Chain Investment Promotion Conference, organized by Wuhan Culture and Tourism Group's Wuhan World Trade Exhibition Services Company. Across the 60,000-square-meter exhibition space, nearly 2,000 brand exhibitors from around the globe showcased their offerings, attracting tens of thousands of domestic and international buyers alongside guests from various sectors.

Jointly organized by the Wuhan Sub-council of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Wuhan Food Industry Association, and Wuhan Culture and Tourism Group's Wuhan World Trade Exhibition Services Company, the Wuhan delegation featured over 10 renowned local enterprises including Wuhan Dianxiyuan Ecological Landscape Development Co., Ltd., Wuhan Fangshi Food & Beverage Co., Ltd., Wuhan Xinpeiyuan Green Food Co., Ltd., and Hubei Jili Food Co., Ltd. During the exhibition, the Wuhan pavilion witnessed bustling crowds and vibrant interactions, projected to attract over 20,000 professional buyers and industry professionals for procurement, exchanges, and negotiations.

In the afternoon, the 2024 Wuhan Modern Agriculture and Food Industry Chain Investment Promotion Conference commenced. Organized jointly by Wuhan Culture and Tourism Group's Wuhan World Trade Exhibition Services Company and the SIAL China organizing committee, the event gathered over 100 food enterprises. The conference aimed to establish an international, high-end platform for food and beverage trade communications, helping enterprises expand networks, discover business opportunities, and promote collaboration between Wuhan and Guangzhou (including the Greater Bay Area) in agricultural and food industries. During the signing ceremony, the Wuhan Modern Agricultural Product Processing Park Construction Headquarters and Guangdong Imported Food Association inked a framework agreement, establishing cooperation in resource sharing, business collaboration, and promotional initiatives.
